Shenzhen Henghui Public Welfare Foundation (hereinafter referred to as “Henghui”) was established in May 2017. It was initiated by Chen Xingjia, a former “National Outstanding County Party Secretary” recognized by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Henghui is committed to “exploring and establishing social support systems for vulnerable groups through innovative public welfare practices, and promoting the role of public welfare in the social governance system.” Its initiatives focus on innovative projects in areas such as critical illness assistance, public health technology assessment, rural doctor training, adolescent mental health, and educational care.
