Mr. CHEN Xingjia


SUMMARY

As one of the “One Hundred Outstanding County CPC General-Secretary” awarded by President XI Jinping, Mr. CHEN Xingjia resigned from political career at the end of his term of service, despite of his promotion, and dedicated himself to China’s philanthropic sector at the end of 2016. Partnering with Mr. LIU Zhengchen and Mr. Chen Qiulin, he initiated the “United Love Project” Comprehensive Childhood Cancer Control Program, being determined to find a solution to eliminate poverties caused by illness in China.

    In January 2019, his story was promoted by Global People (affiliated to People’s Daily) as one of the feature stories for celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of CPC;
    In March 2018, awarded as one of the 10 Role Models in China‘s Philanthropic Sector in 2017 by Phoenix New Media (ifeng.com); 
    In March 2008, awarded as one of the 10 Agents of Social Change in 2017 by the magazine China Philanthropist;
    On June 30 2016, his governance policy of applying internet technology to alleviate poverty was promoted in a TV feature during the 95th anniversary of the founding of CPC;
    On January 16 2016, his governance experience of targeted poverty alleviation was promoted by China Central TV Station’s National News Program in a six-minute-long report;
    In June 2015, awarded as one of the “One Hundred Outstanding County CPC General Secretary”, and received the honor from President XI Jinping in Beijing;
