Dream Action | Plaque Unveiling Ceremony of the Remote Mountains Music Classroom

On November 19th, the plaque unveiling ceremony for the "Remote Mountains Music Classroom" public welfare project, which was donated by the Ever Care Charity Foundation and implemented by the Shenzhen Guwuyouyang Youth Development Center, was successfully held at Shidong Middle School in Taijiang County.  Xie Wancheng, the principal of Shidong Middle School, Tian Maofei, the vice-principal of Shidong Middle School, as well as representatives from the Ever Care Charity Foundation and the Shenzhen Guwuyouyang Youth Development Development Center attended the ceremony.

Ms. Jia Zhiwei, representing the Ever Care Charity Foundation, reported on the implementation and innovations of the "Dream Action" public welfare project in Guizhou over the past seven years. This project combines music education with public welfare, aiming to inspire  children's artistic potential, enabling them to discover their dreams in the world of music and fill them with anticipation and hope for a bright future.

After the ceremony, Ms. Zhang Jieying from the Guwuyouyang Youth Development Center gave a lively and interesting open class on African drumming for the students. She patiently explained the playing techniques and rhythm patterns of the African drum and led the students to play a cheerful piece called "Cuckoo" together. The atmosphere was enthusiastic and joyous, with both teachers and students immersing themselves in the beauty of music, relishing the wonderful time brought by music.

The successful holding of this plaque unveiling ceremony of the Remote Mountains Music Classroom has not only brought artistic influence to the teachers and students at Shidong Middle School but has also infused new vitality and hope into rural education. We look forward to the Remote Mountains Music Classroom will become a highlight in campus culture construction in the future, attracting more social forces to pay attention to and support for rural education, and jointly creating a better future for children!
