Hero's Legacy Program | Fourth Beijing Summer Camp - Spiritual Growth Journey in 2024

On August 4th 2024, the opening ceremony of the Fourth Theme Summer Camp of the Hero's Legacy Program was held at the Bird's Nest in Beijing. Nearly 120 people participated in the ceremony, including children, their families, peer mentors, and monthly donors from the Ever Care Charity Foundation.

Mr. Chen Xingjia extended his warm welcome and gratitude to the children and their families for their presence. In the heat of August, we gathered at the Bird's Nest, the most heroes (Olympic champions) were born. Selecting this special venue for the opening was intended to convey to the children that there is a great hero in each of their families, and their parents were the heroes of our nation. The Hero's Legacy Program is a public welfare project aims to explore the establishment of a social support system for heroic families who have made significant contributions to society through innovative public welfare practices, and to inherit and advocate a better national spirit.

The Bird's Nest is commonly known as "the place where little birds perch". By launching the camp at this symbolic place, we hope that the children will always bear in mind that there are many people love and care about them just like their parents. We will accompany them as they grow up and help them fly towards their dreams with joy.

At the ceremony, representatives of the children, their families, peer mentors, and monthly donors of the Ever Care Charity Foundation were invited to give speeches. Everyone sincerely thanked the Ever Care Charity Foundation and Mr. Chen Xingjia, expressing their gratitude for the care and support provided by the foundation and all sectors of society for the children. They also thanked the foundation for enabling them to fulfill their wish to engage in public welfare. They fully recognized the inspiring role of the summer camp activities within the Hero's Legacy Program in the growth of the children, which is to "broaden their horizons and strengthen themselves." They also encouraged more ambitious and capable individuals to join in these efforts, to pay attention to and support the future of the children, so that the children can grow up healthily and happily under the nourishment of love and embrace a more brilliant tomorrow.
