Gansu Program of the “Children Leukemia Care” Officially Launched

On August 10, 2023, the launching ceremony of the Gansu Program of the “Children Leukemia Care” was held at the Gansu Maternal and Child Health Hospital (The Central Hospital of Gansu Province). Nearly 200 people attended the event, including leaders from the United Front Work Department of the Gansu Provincial Committees, the Provincial Women's Federation, the Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, the Provincial Health Commission, the Provincial Healthcare Security Administration and other departments, leaders from the four designated cooperative hospitals and heads of relevant departments, experts from outside the province, universities professors, leaders from the Provincial Red Cross Society, the Provincial Federation of Social Workers and the Lanzhou Youth League and Municipal Committee, representatives of the Youth League committees of Lanzhou universities, representatives of local social organizations and public welfare institutions, and many enthusiastic volunteers who care about the “Children Leukemia Care”. They gathered together to witness the official launch of the project.

Licensing the Designated Cooperative Hospitals

In February 2023, the Ever Care Charity Foundation officially launched the preliminary research work of the Gansu Program of the “Children Leukemia Care”. With the guidance and support of the relevant government departments of Gansu Province, in August, after half a year of research and communication, Ever Care Charity Foundation has achieved cooperation with four provincial hospitals, namely the First Hospital of Lanzhou University, the Second Hospital of Lanzhou University, Gansu Provincial Hospital, and Gansu Maternal and Child Health Hospital, and thus the Gansu Program of the “Children Leukemia Care” has been officially launched. The successful implementation of the Gansu Program of the “Children Leukemia Care” will bring companionship to children with leukemia as well as support to their families, systematically improve the diagnosis and treatment capabilities of childhood leukemia in Gansu, and promote the high-quality development of Gansu's public welfare and charity undertakings.
